Haryana to introduce 67 new ambulances

Chandigarh: Haryana government will dedicate 67 new ambulances for public welfare on September 5, 2016. These ambulances have been purchased at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore. Health minister will dedicated the fleet of ambulances at a function to be oranised at Civil Hospital, Panchkula. 

Managing Director, Haryana Medical Services Corporation, Dr. Amit Agrawal said that MLA Panchkula Mr Gian Chand Gupta and MLA Kalka Mrs Latika Sharma would be special guests on this occasion.

He said that the Government has purchased Maruti Eeco vans to be used as ambulances. These will be fully air conditioned. In comparison to previous ambulances, these would have more space for patient, to keep medicines, oxygen cylinder and other facilities.
