Study sheds light on three categories of porn viewers

People across the world now have access to all kinds of porn on the internet without any restrictions, and while it is a thriving industry there is also a flipside to it with men addicted to porn having erectile issues and children as young as 11 having access to disturbing material has become a matter for concern.

A study now sheds light on how people watch porn, as it divides porn viewers into three categories, and clearly states how much porn is ok. The findings said that 75 percent people watched porn for 24 minutes in a week and porn for them was purely a recreational activity without negative outcomes.

Another group consisting of 12.7 percent people was actually not watching enough porn with just 17 minutes a week, and researchers described them as distressed. The third group was worrying as it had 11.7 percent of the respondents that watched a whopping 110 minutes of porn a week, and were clearly compulsive porn viewers.

Apart from showing the extent to which compulsive porn viewers were hooked, the study also stated that 70% of respondents were women and 80% were heterosexual.
