Excess Teachers from Central Schools should be moved to Government Schools – declared PSEB

PSEBThe Punjab School Education Board have recently declared that the extrateachers from central schools would be moved to other government schools inwhich positions are vacant for teachers. But the teachers had denied to obeythis order by saying that it will affect the studies of the students. Also, thesupporters of the Government School teachers’ Union, Punjab has sent a memo toLudhiana MLAs Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Kuldeep Singh Vaid and Surinder Dawar inthis regard.


ParveenKumar of the union said – “PSEB has declared a new scheme under which thelanguage teachers would be single in a single school and if any middle schoolhave two different teachers for the language subjects then one will be shiftedto the government school. Similarly, single teacher will be there for PTI andArts& Crafts teachers.”

 

“Weare against the decision of the Board because it will affect the studies ofstudents. Instead of doing this pointless implementation, the education boardshould fill the positions of mathematics teacher in central schools,” - Parveenadded.

 

Inthe memo sent to Ludhiana MLAs, the union demanded that the Board should changeits decision on self-examination center so that students do not suffer duringboard exams. They also claimed that the board should take its decision back.They too have given assurance from Ludhiana MLAs to sort out their matters andwill reach to Education Minister in this regards.
