Reading Week at Kundan Vidya Mandir, City Campus

To inculcate and encourage love and passion for reading books, a ‘Reading Week’ is being observed at Kundan Vidya Mandir, City Campus from January 24, 2017 to January 28, 2017. 
Different activities are being organized to promote reading among the students. 
An elaborated Character Walk was done by the students.
The students looked beautiful as they were dressed up as the main characters of various fairy tales like ‘Little Red Riding Hood’, ‘Snow White’, Cindrella’ etc.
The great personalities like A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Rabindra Nath Tagore, Mother Teresa and Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel were also characterised.
A quiz was also held related to various books and authors. The students participated enthusiastically in all the activities. Book reviews were also presented by the students. The Headmistress, Mrs. Namita Raj Singh, encouraged the students to read good books for a healthy mind. She also appreciated the efforts made by the students. She also encouraged the students to be dutiful towards our country and inculcate good habits in order to be good citizens. She congratulated everyone on the 68th Republic Day of India.
