For progress, Punjab has to work hand in hand with Centre: TPS Sidhu

Mohali: Capt TPS Sidhu today stated that its better for the Punjab Government to go hand in hand with the Central Government. As still half the term is to go for BJP-led government at the Centre, the people must elect the SAD-BJP combine so that the wave of development be continued in the state, particularly in Mohali.

As already Rs 2,500 crore has been spent by the Punjab Government on the development of Mohali, still we can expect another Rs 5,000 crore in the next five years for the city infrastructure.

This wave of investment and development is possible with residents of the constituency casting their votes with almost care and faith. “We promise the voters, that the dream of a green and great Mohali will be a reality as the things have already been taking place and shape. Day is not far when we could call Mohali as a metro,” he said.

In Sector 71, Mohali, Capt TPS Sidhu, candidate of the SAD-BJP combine, stressed to bring more industrial houses to Mohali. “As the infrastructure is ready with Punjab going an electricity surplus state and Mohali connected to the world via air, we can expect other big industrial houses at Mohali soon, giving way to an increased employment and avenues of trade,” Capt Sidhu said.

No state government could function smoothly and pull the escalator of development without cooperation from the Centre. “Today with widening of the road network we can see Mohali as the future industrial hub of Northern India, not only Punjab. It was made possible with the SAD-BJP government in the state and the BJP-led government at the Centre,” he added.

People need to understand that the false promises of the Congress would yield nothing except disappointment. “Today it is clear that they are promising the sky to the voters, name mega business zones or mega hospitals, but everyone knows that they are just playing with the emotions of the people and they are capable of doing nothing positive. They delivered nothing in last 10 years in Mohali. The Congress MLA never had time for the constituency nor did he care for its problems and issues,” added Capt Sidhu.

Chandigarh MC results will be repeated in Mohali: Capt Sidhu

Mohali: Capt TPS Sidhu, while addressing an election gathering, stated that the Congress candidates for the posts of Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor withdrew their candidature is a sign of surrende to the change that the people wanted.

“It’s time when people join the wave of development in Mohali and contribute towards making a better India,” he said.

“We with the BJP-led government at the Centre need another term for the SAD-BJP government in Punjab to continue the pace of industrialisation with every citizen’s personal growth. We are here to compete on development agenda and better coordination between the Centre and the state. We are confident to win in Mohali and form the government in Punjab,” he added. District President of the BJP Mahila Wing Mansi Chaudhary in Phase 7, Mohali, declared that they would repeat the victory of the Chandigarh MC poll in the Mohali assembly constituency.

It is pertinent to mention here that in the Chandigarh MC poll, the BJP-SAD won 22 seats and the Congress faced worst-ever defeat.

Mansi Chaudhary further stated that the people had lost faith in the Congress. She was campaigning for Capt TPS Sidhu in the Phase 7 market
