AAP candidate in Royal City takes campaigning to next level

Patiala: Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate from Patiala (urban) assembly seat, Dr Balbir Singh has given a new twist to the on-going campaigning when he adopted a totally different style and organised a ‘Jaggo’ in Dhiru Ki Majri area close to the New Moti Bagh Palace, of the Punjab Congress Chief Capt Amarinder on the birth of a girl child.

Known as the stronghold of scheduled castes and Dalits, Dhiru Ki Majri is located near Multani Mal Modi College, Dr. Balbir Singh played a master stroke by reaching amidst the people considered to be a traditional major vote bank of the Congress.

Dr Balbir Singh used his party’s women wing to reach the electorate especially the women and the youth. The party cadre took out a ‘Jaggo’ during the campaigning and aimed at awakening the masses about their right to vote.

From AAP’s women wing Rupinderjit Kaur, Dimple, Manjit Kaur, Rohni, Amarjit Kaur, Jasmeet Kaur, Bindari, Jasbir Kaur, Rekha Rani took the lead in organising this special show. Besides, the Party also organised a special Lohri function on the birth of a girl child. Dr Balbir Singh informed people that AAP and its pro-people policies and the developmental works carried out by the party in Delhi.
