India’s Most Affordable 14.1” Laptop - RDP ThinBook - Now Available for Customers

Chandigarh: RDP, India’s leading IT hardware& mobility manufacturing company, committed to developing affordable computing solutions for entry-level consumers, recently announced the availability of the highly anticipated RDP ThinBook ultra slim laptop for customers across India at a press event. The ThinBook has the distinction of being India’s most affordable 14.1” laptop in its segment.

The event was also marked by the presence of Mr. K. T. Rama Rao,Minister of Information Technology, Government of Telangana, and Mr. JayeshRanjan, Secretary - IT, Electronics& Communications Department, Government of Telangana,who spoke about the importance of affordable computing devices for consumers and the various initiatives to catalyse technology uptake in the State. The IT Minister also presented the 14.1” ThinBook to its first few owners from Telangana, who had pre-booked the revolutionary device along with thousands of other Indians.

Developed in strategic association with ecosystem players Microsoft and Intel, the new device aims to address the needs of entry-level consumers looking for an affordable yet robust device. RDP’s ThinBook is equipped with class-leading hardware and software making the device an efficient, no-compromise solution. The device comes packed with the Intel Atom x5-Z8300 Processor. The on-board High Speed USB 3.0 allows 10X data transfer speeds vis-à-vis USB 2.0 offered on similarly-priced laptops. The ThinBook runs on genuine Windows 10 software, helping usersbe more productive with the intuitive operating system. First time users will greatly benefit from Windows 10 as it is the most secure Windows ever and comes with enhanced Windows Defender and Smart Screen to help safeguard against viruses, malware and phishing. Windows 10 will also give users access to a world of smart and premium features such as a digital assistant, Cortana, and access to a growing selection of Microsoft certified apps and content on their laptops through the Windows Store.

Showcasing its affordable solutions across form factors for different kinds of usage, the company also displayed its 8” Gravity Tablets, 10.1” ThinBook 2-in-1 Laptops, the ThinBook Convertible and the PlugPC, all powered by Intel processors and Microsoft.

Speaking on the availability of the RDP ThinBook, Mr. VikramRedlapalli, Founder& Managing Director, RDP Workstations Pvt.
